Free domain activation: get your site live in three steps

Every website launch runs into the same unglamorous bottleneck: getting the domain actually pointed at the new site. It’s rarely difficult in principle, but it’s exactly technical enough to stall a launch for days while someone tracks down registrar logins and Googles what a nameserver even is.

I don’t charge for this step, and I’ve streamlined it down to three things:

1. Send us your domain. Just the domain name itself — no registrar password, no account access, nothing sensitive changes hands.
2. We send you our nameservers. Two addresses, ready to paste in.
3. You update them with your domain provider. A two-minute change in your registrar’s dashboard — GoDaddy, Namecheap, whoever you registered through. That’s the only step that happens on your end.

From there, everything else is handled on ours: DNS records, SSL, and the connection to your hosting — configured and verified before you ever notice a gap. Once the nameserver change propagates (usually well under an hour, occasionally up to 24), your domain resolves straight to the live site. No downtime window to plan around, no half-finished state in between.
